After a long day of snowshoeing, we treated ourselves to a bed and breakfast at Ullensvang Gjesteheim along the Hardangerfjord. The breakfast did not disappoint. There were tons of homemade jams, and we even got to try Norwegian brown cheese, which is slightly sweet.
In Voss, we stopped by Tre Brør, a cute cafe in their downtown area. We warmed up in the cafe with coffee and soup
We also visited the gorges near Voss, Bordalsgielet. They felt like a hidden gem and were really beautiful.
We drove up to the Folk Museum, where we got a good view of the famous glacial Voss lake. The Voss lake is where they bottle Voss water from, and when we got to the lake, Marisa took a sip.
Our last stop in Voss was a hike up Mount Hanguren. The trail was pretty steep and muddy since it had recently rained, and when we reached the top, there was a ski lodge at the top. There also is a gondola that goes to the top of the mountain, and the guy running the gondola was really nice and told us that since we hiked up, he would give us a ride down for free.
