The two month goals idea came from our camping trip in Big Sur. Set measurable goals for 2-3 month periods. I’m going to give this a shot.
I’m naturally fearful of goals because I hate to disappoint. I’m a perfectionist, so I have trouble writing down goals unless I’ve accomplished them. So this was harder to commit to than I thought.
Goal #1: Make the house a home.
Finish up some of those nagging projects, furnish, and clean up. The list of project is (and may always be) endless, but get it to a point where we are comfortable hosting people. Then, host a housewarming party.
Goal #2: Run.
In preparation for the San Diego Half Marathon and the SoCal Ragnar, I need to be training at least four to five times a week. I can’t believe how easy it is to get out of running shape.
Goal #3: Read.
I enjoy reading, and I don’t do it enough. I’m currently reading Middlesex. I want to have read two more books by the end of March.
