When does one grow out of IKEA?
Last weekend, we visited SoCo Collection, a new-ish Costa Mesa, CA shopping plaza that focuses on interior design and the culinary experience. It also happens to be across the street from IKEA. After wandering SoCo feeling very inspired, wanting everything, and experiencing a ton of sticker shock, we headed to IKEA and proceeded to purchase so much that we could barely fit it in our car. (Does that ever happen to anyone else? – We literally had to put down all the seats, filling in the inside of the car to its brim and then strapped a ton of boxes to the top of the car masterfully using the free IKEA twine.)
But seriously, when do I graduate from IKEA into the SoCo Collection? When do I grow up?
