I hope everyone had a very happy thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is definitely one of my favorite holidays. Not just because it involves delicious food, but because it doesn’t matter what religion you practice, or whether you have a significant other to celebrate with, or even about the pressure of going out and celebrating, it is instead about the people you are thankful for.
I am thankful for my family, my boyfriend kelvin, and all my friends.
I am so thankful that this year I was able to get a co-op at Alcon and have the opportunity to work with such a great team of people for nine months. I am thankful that Kelvin got into the Chemical Engineering phD program at USC, and I now have the opportunity to share more time with him. I am thankful that my brother graduated from Lewis and Clark Law School and that my sister graduated from Esperanza High School. I am so proud of them! I am thankful that all my siblings were in one city for the first time in almost 10 years, and I am thankful for the time we were able to spend together. <3
