on saturday, kelvin and i hiked amicalola falls with his family. we were hoping to catch lots of pretty fall colors in the trees, but we were a little late.
i was still able to see a few colorful trees. i love how the leaves looked with the light shining through. they almost had a stained glass effect.
the view along the hike. i wish i could see the leaves change colors in california. seasons are great!
the kuo family at the top of amicalola falls.
amicalola falls.
kelvin and i only took one picture together this entire trip. we look spotted from the shadows.
there was this abandoned truck along the trail. i wonder how it got there.
kelvin stuck after attempting to climb a hallow tree.
this leaf had pretty colors.

at night, kelvin and i went to a bad fish concert because he was taking pictures for technique, georgia tech’s newspaper. scotty don’t opened for bad fish, and they turned out to be the same band. bad fish is a cover band for the 1990’s band sublime. they had quite a crowd of enthused sublime fans (me included). i think they did a great job of sticking to the carefree, feel good sounds of sublime.
