since kelvin is photo editor at the georgia tech newspaper, technique, i attend all the photo meetings for free pizza. when kelvin read off the assignments due for the week and one of the was described as “a photo of a nice tree canopy on campus,” i immediately decided to pick up the assignment for fun.
one week later, i proudly found my photo on the front page of the technique under the pen name “kelvin kuo”. 🙂
this week, i did the “buzz around campus” section of the newspaper, where i asked four students what they thought was the best part of this summer. i enjoy this opportunity to practice my picture taking. it’s been pretty fun dipping my feet in newspaper photography.
