i spent all day at the usc vision symposium in the davidson conference center. in the afternoon, i presented my research at the poster presentation session. it’s interesting how different of an environment it is when spending time with PhD students, professors, and researchers versus the undergraduate crowd. it’s actually pretty exhausting. i hope i can survive graduate school!
i’m sad that my research uses the cutest guinea pigs ever. i never see them because just their eyes are sent to us from australia. (it’s a joint study.) we put lenses on them to induce myopia (nearsightedness), so they end up looking like pilots.

heading over to the USC Vision Symposium today, I noticed this shiny new sculpture outside of leavey library. it’s sort of walt disney concert hall-esque.
