simply put, spring break was awesome. i miss it already. the beaches. the exploring. the fun.
i’m having a hard time getting back into the swing of things. hundreds of emails awaited me when i got home. and i have a midterm in a few hours.
i definitely felt like i was still on a boat all night yesterday. everything was rocking back and forth. and i almost felt sea sick from being on land.
most of all, i miss kelvin. 🙁

[day 48] time to go home.

[day 47] our own private island
today we spent the day on ncl’s private island, great stirrup cay. we went snorkeling, ate at their bbq, hiked to their lighthouse, and laid out on the beach.
[day 46] chocoholics buffet
i’m not a big fan of chocolate at all, but i couldn’t miss the opportunity to see all the creative things the chefs came up with for the chocoholics buffet at our day at sea. the chocolate lighthouse was probably my favorite.
[day 45] tulum mayan ruins
the tulum mayan ruins were right off the coast of mexico. it took us a boat ride from cozumel and an hour bus ride up the coast of mexico before we finally reached the ruins. it was super interesting hearing about how they lived. it’s hard to imagine how advanced of a civilization they had.
[day 44] local beer + cave tubing
we went cave tubing in a river in belize. it was such an amazing experience! i wish i brought my camera.
afterwards, the tour took us to a local restaurant where we tried some local beer.
[day 43] clothesline in roatan
it was a pretty hot day in roatan and tons of families had their clothes out to dry.
kelvin and i went hiking in roatan. it was nice to move around after being on the boat for so long.
[day 42] our designated dress up night
NCL is really big on their so-called freestyling. Kelvin and I decided that dressing up was fun.. so we dressed up for dinner anyway.
[day 41] spring break cruise to the carribeans
Today begins the seven day cruise through west carribean. Our route was Miami, FL -> Roatan, Honduras -> Belize City, Belize -> Cozumel, Mexico -> Great Stirrup Cay, Bahamas
[day 40] cape florida lighthouse
i love lighthouses. 🙂 we made it to the cape florida lighthouse right at sunset.
afterwards, we went to the rusty pelican for a delicious seafood dinner with a fantastic seaside view of downtown miami.
[day 39] i’m going to miami!
Spent a few days in Miami Beach with Kelvin before heading to our cruise.
