postsecret visits USC!

yesterday night i had the privilege of hearing frank warren speak at bovard auditorium at usc. it was a mix of an inspirational/self-help talk and a sharing of the history of postsecret. i’m really glad i went. he just seems like the most genuine, caring, holding-the-people-of-this-world-in-a-hug sort of guy.

the nature of postsecret eludes to this feeling that you’re a part of some sort of secretive, underground club, but when i got to the auditorium 45 minutes early, there were already two lines wrapped around the building: one for students and another for the public. i couldn’t believe how many people were also fans of postsecret. i thought no one really knew about the site except for web geeks and people who have secrets… i guess that includes practically everyone.

anyway, the talk was great. i’m so happy he came to usc! i’ve been waiting for it since he started doing a show at georgetown… secretly, of course.
