back again
i’m clinging onto these few memories and relating them back to millions of others.
and i’m the kid who dips her foot into the pool before slowly climbing in. and i’m going to admit now, i’m absolutely terrified. but i’ll never admit it to your face.
i haven’t done this in awhile. whatever “this” means. anyway, i kind of like it.
somethings to remind myself
having re-read J.K. Rowling’s commencement speech for Harvard class of 2008, i decided to highlight some of my favorite parts as reminders to myself.
It is impossible to live without failing at something, unless you live so cautiously that you might as well not have lived at all – in which case, you fail by default.
Given a time machine or a Time Turner, I would tell my 21-year-old self that personal happiness lies in knowing that life is not a check-list of acquisition or achievement.
