flea market visit
i went the the rose bowl flea market yesterday with sarah, and it was so much fun! i was a little worried when i realized that i had to pay $8 to get in because i wasn’t looking for anything in particular, but i ended up finding tons of stuff.

amongst my many purchases, i bought a beautiful yellow wooden chair. it doesn’t particularily match my room at the new victorian house that my roommates and i recently moved into, but i was in love. plus, it was only $20. i couldn’t resist.

sarah and i had so much fun getting great deals on jewelery and scarves as well. i’m going back to the flea market for sure another time. it happens on the first sunday of every month.

i’m still working on decorating my new room, and i’m thinking about painting some canvases for the walls.

i want to create a frame/art collage. i found these samples on apartment therapy.

i was frame hunting at the flea market and didn’t find much success. i think i need to go on a day where i’m more patient. the prices on some of the frames were absolutely ridiculous. i’ll start piece by piece.
