i found this beautiful flower outside our eco lodge cabin. there were so many beautiful plants in costa rica. i couldn’t stop taking photos. we went on quite a few hikes. in one of them, a guide took us around and told us about all the animals, plants and insects in the area. there is such a high diversity of plants in the rain forest. many of them contain cures to diseases, and i hope with more research, scientists will be able to find cures for aids and cancer.
