rainy days
rainy days in los angeles are very rare. in fact, i didn’t even bring my umbrella to school because i didn’t think it was going to really rain until the spring.

today was a rainy day. at usc, that’s like the equivalent of a snow day anywhere else because barely anyone shows up to class. the rain is too much for us to handle in our rainbows and beach cruisers.

luckily, i’m prepared. i had splash guards put on my baby blue beach cruiser when i first got it in the fall because i thought it made my bike look cuter. apparently they come in handy on rainy days. i charged through puddles just to get the pleasure of hearing the sound of the water under my bike’s tires.

i also love jumping through puddles in my green rain boots. it makes going to class so much more enjoyable.
