thoughts.
i went to bed “early” last night. it was 12 AM.
my yoga teacher assigned our class to journal everything we eat in a day for the next two weeks. at first i was annoyed because i never really think about what i eat. i sort of just eat what i want, and i knew that if i recorded everything i would start getting all self-conscious about what i ate. i guess that was the point.
i talked to my yoga teacher after class today about the journals, and she told me that she wanted college students to see what they feed their bodies. “You students spend so much money feeding your minds by going to USC, but when it comes to your bodies, you try to find what’s quick, easy, and cheap and most of the time that isn’t what is best for your body. Your body fuels your mind. It doesn’t make sense that you don’t watch what you feed your body.”
