laugh at-tack
n. a sudden uncontrollable expression of certain emotions, especially mirth or delight, by a series of spontaneous, usually unarticulated sounds often accompanied by corresponding facial and bodily movements.
today in art history, kristen and i nearly died of laughter.
our professor is the most nervous character i’ve ever seen, and he just says the funniest things.
throughout the entire lecture he’ll interject little things out of nervousness or fear of being politically incorrect. today he accidentally kicked a student’s sack lunch and the whole class started laughing. for some reason that laughter was catalyst for this insane laugh attack where kristen and i kept bouncing off of each other’s laughter. i tried so hard to hold it all in that i was shaking and crying. twenty minutes later, i was still giggling. it was insanely embarrasing, but funny nonetheless.
we were having this serious lecture on lynching, and i tried to be serious by looking at the picturess of lyinchings, but then i’d hear kristen laughing and it started all over again. totally inappropriate, i know.
anywho. laughing is supposed to be a good exercise. my face and throat hurt so bad afterwards, and my eyes were all puffy from crying. haha. good times.
RAVE// my emotional intelligence freshman seminar is cool.
