greek rush.
rush week has been so unbelievably hectic. sorority rush is crazy.
not many girls on my floor are actually rushing, but there are over 600 girls from sc rushing this year.
the first two days of rush were filled with visiting each sorority house and getting to know a few girls from each of the nine houses through a mini interview/conversation. there was tons of small talk which got super tiring after awhile. by the time i got back each night at 10:15 pm, i’d be feeling a little antisocial.
it’s so weird how the personalities of all nine sorority houses on the row are competely different.
today we had house tours on the row. the sorority houses are gorgeous and so cutely decorated. they are these huge mansions with complex labrinth like stairs and passages. each house has its own history and perks.
the frat houses have a huge striking contrast to the beautiful sorority houses. it’s so blatantly obvious which is which.
rush has been so time consuming. i almost wanted to quit today. (kristen and jenny had to pep talk me into staying.) i still can’t decide whether in the end i really want to join a sorority, but the girls at the houses i visited today were really sweet and genuine.
RAVE// my favorite thing about college this week are the cancelled classes. (especially my four hour chem lab)
RANT// the bookstore is addicting.
