i was sold to usc.
i went to the spring reception for usc on sunday with my mom and sammie. watching the marching band, listening to people speak, and walking around campus really made me excited about going to usc.

the campus is beautiful.

i’m building up my trojan pride. 🙂

in the midst of all this usc excitement, i woke up in the middle of the night and filled out my enrollment and housing forms. i sent them in today.

i’m feeling this mix of excitement and fear. college. wow.

hakuna matata
i saw the broadway show, lion king with my sister and my mom saturday night. the show was amazing. i fell in love with the story all over again.

i’ve never seen anything like it.

and of course, i love the music. i felt like singing along the whole time. especially when hakuna matata came on. it reminded me of the sophomore year spanish project that i did with katie and jyzelle. singing hakuna matata in spanish in front of the class? haha. how did we manage to convince ourselves to do that?

i woke up to “i just can’t wait to be king” stuck in my head.
