the grand canyon is

well, grand.

i was so amazed. the grand canyon looks so surreal. it’s so perfect. so beautiful. simply awesome.

and so i took picture after picture. i went camera happy. by the end of the trip i had 117 pictures. arizona is beautiful too. but the six hour plus car ride really killed. my ipod and i are buds now.

i love how different light changes how the grand canyon looks every day.

and on the train ride home from the grand canyon, we saw a rainbow!

i love rainbows. they make me so happy. i love how every time people see rainbows, they gasp in amazement like they’ve never seen a rainbow in their life. i love that feeling of pure awe. rainbows are so pretty, and the fact that they come after rain makes them even prettier.

i want to be a professional photographer when i grow up.

just kidding. that would be cool though.
