i love this weather.

clouds fluffy.

sun smiling.

cool breeze.

rain gone.

and these are days that i want to go to a park and lay on a blanket and stare at the clouds.

the rain was exciting for a day or two.

tuesday band practice was cancelled. zero period field practice was moved to the theater. we got out all our winter clothes. coats, scarves, vest, and mittens. and ran around with bright colored umbrellas.

but then we started getting cold and wet. and the pool was closed because the heater broke. but i couldn’t help missing the sun and its warmth. and wishing to actually see real color again instead of the grey-ed out darkness that the gloomy clouds left us.

so, i’d still have to say the greatest feeling is driving windows down listening to watashi wa right after the sun comes out after a few gloomy days of rain. weather still chilly.

and then the sun kissed my cheeks.

and this is when i realize why i love california.
