i’m reliving the moment through pictures.
homecoming was amazing. that was by far my favorite dance. thank you danny. i seriously had the time of my life.
since the senior officers heather, eddie, james, and i spent numerous hours and weeks planning for this single night, it seems as if i’ve been thinking about homecoming since the ASB campout all the way back in august. we made sure to get every little detail down to painting the mirrors on the bathroom and having the confetti on the tables match the inside of the gym. i feel like i have this emotional attachment to homecoming. and i’m glad that so many people had a good time. the gym looked amazing. heather, james, and i were so excited when we saw it that we started jumping up and down and hugging each other. haha. i totally agreed with eddie when he said that homecoming felt like his little baby.
i went to school at 8 am for homecoming set up and stayed until 11:45 when i had to leave for my hair appointment. the group met at heather’s house for pictures (just like prom). her backyard is beautiful (even if it was a little muddy because of the rain.) we went to school to take pictures, and we caught a glimpse of what the school looked like. we ate at chipotle because our CPK dinner reservations didn’t work out. they even gave us free drinks! after we ate, we had an hour or so to burn so we went to toys r us and messed around for a bit until we decided to go to the new coldstone. coldstone ice cream is heavenly. man. the vanilla and brownie was soo good! the first time i tried coldstone i had so much stuff in it that i couldn’t taste the ice cream and i thought i was way too sweet, but the ice cream itself is really really good.
after coldstone we went to school for the dance. the dance was so much fun. ahh! i loved it. and the carousel was lots of fun too. i miss riding carousels. those were my favorite when i was little. i hope everyone had a good time! 🙂
i can’t stop raving about homecoming. i should really stop.
