snail mail

i love getting mail. i mean real mail. none of that e-mail stuff.

hand written letters with a cancelled postage stamp and your address.

hand written letters just have so much more meaning than e-mails. just as something said on the phone has much more meaning than something said on AIM.

i remember when i used to write so many letters. i had like six pen pals, and they were all really cool pen pals too. a few of them i met on vacation and one i used to go to chinese school with. and the others i just met through my other pen pals. sometimes i miss getting atleast one letter a week. and sometimes i miss writing letters to people across the country with my colorful collection of stationary. i miss sticking stickers and pencils in my letters, and i miss being able to keep in contact with people through paper.

i hope mail never gets outdated. there’s so much more to letters than just words.
