megz is 16! yay! we kidnapped megz this morning and ate at the original pancake house. i thought i was going to explode. i ate too much.

july fourth

happy birthday america. 🙂 i spent july fourth with danny and his family (his sister jeannie, his dad, his grandma, his aunt, his uncle, and his two cousins mindy and andrea) it was really cool getting to know his family better. in the morning i went to church with his family.

we missed the fireworks. maybe another day. i like fireworks. they make me happy. even thought they scare me cause they make loud noises.

instead, we went to a pretty laguna beach near the ritz-carlton, and ate at hometown buffet. then we went over to his aunt and uncle’s house to hang out. i was so tired afterwards. hope YOUR fourth of july was fun too. 🙂

“day after july fourth bonanza”

my coach’s sick attempt at a july fourth present. coach bill walks into practice yesterday announcing that we were going to beat the team’s record of how many laps swam in one practice (an hour and a half). if you know swim lingo… it was 15 200 yds on the 3 minutes, 15 100 yds on the 2 minutes, and 15 50 yds on the 50 seconds. with the 5, 10, and 15s IM. the pool was HOT. (86 degrees) i was dehydrated. i felt like throwing up. but afterwards, we got watermelon. 🙂

i woke up this morning, and i was like yes! i’m not sore! HA! and then it hit me, 2 hours later while i was at megz house. ugh. owie. my back. my shoulders. they are crying. i feel old.

HAPPINESS IS:

08. talking with my mommy. just me and her.

09. staring at old pictures for hours and traveling down memory lane.

RAVE// sammie and i finally gave gina her birthday present yesterday night. HAPPY SUPER LATE BIRTHDAY! (3 months late) i hope you loved our frame that we spend so much time on.

RANT// so sore. i think i’m going to go lie down for awhile.
