big bear

winter trip up to big bear was lots of fun. it was super cold. i would write an essay like i usually do, but my wrists are sore. so i think i’ll just outline. 🙂

+ drive up wasn’t too bad. no one got sick 🙂 (an accomplishment for my family) but seemed like the only thing we could talk about was how wal-mart is taking over the world. : true, i guess. my dad kept trying to figure out its business strategies, while my brother preached about how it uses chinese as slaves, but how every cent we spend there is supporting china.

+ hotel/lodge place was decent. it was homey, but my dad’s been spoiled with all the time sharing places that are super nice, so he wasn’t very pleased.

+ watched there’s something about mary. it was okay. i thought it would be funnier.

+ our fridge was set on such a cold temperature that everything inside froze. including our milk. which was pretty funny in the morning because my dad tried to pour milk on his cereal and chunks of milk cubes kept coming out.

+ pressure change caused our sunscreen to go wacko. it exploded. that was fun.

+ snowboarding was fun! but painful. haha. i’m so sore.

+ got kidnapped by erich, zelle, megz, and katie. (yay! haha) ate dinner at dennys (stoopid bando origins…) then they brought me over to their cozy cabin and we played board games. dennys was unbelievably fun, we were so loud. everything was 100 times funnier. must have been the thin air or something. i got a major ab workout. 😛 board games were much fun too. i must say, true colors is an interesting game. made me think about some stuff.

+ went snowboarding again. this time i didn’t fall much, but was still sore from the day before. and it started snowing! my sister and i were way excited at first, but i found out that snow hurts so much when your snowboarding. it like pierces your face. my poor face. 🙁

+ went home. i <3 my house-y. 😀

RAVE// snowboarding was so much fun. 😀 seeing friends up in big bear was much fun too. we should all just go up one weekend. 🙂
