happy thanksgiving 🙂

i’m thankful for…

+ the holidays because it gives me something to look forward to past the stress and drama of school. plus. holiday = joy & no school 😀

+ my mom because she’s willing to stay up until 2 am just to listen to me vent about life even when she has to wake up super early to go to a meeting for work the next day. and because no matter what. she’s always there for me, and always will be 🙂 i love my mommy.

+ my sister because when i come home from school, about to cry, she runs up to me and gives me a hug. and because she’s the friend that forgives me no matter what, even when i yell at her to get out of my room when i’m stressed out.

+ my brother because he’s my life teacher, and gives me something to look forward to in life. he teaches me to stand up for myself, and inserts new perspectives and outlooks on the world.

+ my dad because he supports everything i do, and because i cherish every moment i have with him. because he inserts that hard working ethic in me and because everytime i spend time with him, i learn something new.

+ sammie, ani, gina, and mimi because even tho i don’t get to spend as much time as i wish i could with them, when i do, i still feel at home and comfortable. because we’re still all great friends even tho we were scared we’d part after moving and going to different schools, and because spending time with them makes me realize that it isn’t what you do with people that makes the time worth while, but who you do it with.

+ my fluties because they taught me that having a tight section that can respect one another is better than having one with a whole bunch of great players. because they taught me that a true leader has to first respect their section before he/she can gain respect, and because we had an awesome year with much flutie pride 😀 thanks you guys! ::mwah::

+ scott because he taught me not to take the little things in life for granted, because he taught me to love myself for who i am, and because he gave me a new perspective on life. we’ve been through a lot this year, but i guess as a whole, despite all our fights, i’m thankful that we’re still friends because that was one thing i was scared that i was going to lose. and i’m thankful that whenever something isn’t right, i know that i can call him, and that he’ll make your best effort to listen, or to just talk to me to get my mind off of it.

+ erich because he’s been there for me through all my ups and downs. to listen to me vent for hours on the phone, to celebrate whatever with me, to give me a ride when i needed one, to hand me his jacket when i was freezing, and so much more. thank you erich 🙂

+ sarno because he makes me laugh. and because he’s totally random and because he’s easy to talk to.

+ my lunch buddies: sara, connie, erich, sarno, john, and charles because they give me something to look forward to laugh about each day.

+ megan because i’ve gotten to know her so much better this year. and because without her, my vegas trip, or even this band season, wouldn’t have been nearly as much fun. and because she’s someone who i can talk to about silly stuff and serious stuff, and she’ll always listen.

+ court because without her i probably would never have joined swim, and because of the great swim season we had. because of all the deep bus ride convos that we had with megan, and because when i’m in some need of optimism, i can always look towards her.

+ katie because i always know that even if i’m just bored, she’ll be there to talk to me.

+ barb because she always manages to make my day, and because she’s amused by little things too!

+ all my band buddies: zelle, katie m, megan b., shannon, anup, steph, andy, etc. because they helped make all those football games, saturday mornings, and nights spent with band worthwhile.

+ my friends because they brighten my day. 😀

+ for everything i have because even though sometimes i’m fried from stress, i still have what many don’t, and i’m shouldn’t take anything for granted. a home, a family, supportive friends, and of course, my car, guppy! 😀

i’m thankful for so much more, but it’s thanksgiving, and i want to go help my mommy cook, so i’m off. 🙂
