emotions taken over?

you know wat is the cutest thing? watching a middle school girl obsess over some middle school guy. innocent crushes are so cute! today at swim this normally shy, quiet girl couldn’t stop talking about this guy. she went on and on about how nice and smart he is, and couldn’t stop asking for advice on how to get him. listening made me think about my middle school days. this guy had totally taken over her mind. i wonder if i was ever like this.

but then if you think about it… even now, when you like someone it is like that. you rationalize anything negative about the person and in your mind, you make the person perfect. you don’t see wat others see, and even if they try to tell you anything about this person. you pretty much block out everything except for the good stuff. and in your mind you plot out how to get him. 😛 the creepiest thing tho, is that in a sense they take over you. they can practically make you do anything, and you’ll do it for them. so, in conclusion, boys are dangerous. and be careful when you like someone. don’t let them take advantage of you. 😉
