family time
i must say. spending a day with my family didn’t seem that appealing after i had to turn down a sleepover at sammie’s, but after my sister made this adorable invitation for me to spend the day with her and my mom.. i couldn’t resist. i mean. who turns down a handmade invitation for you to spend the day with them? so cute. 🙂 anywhoz. we ended up having a great girls day out. er.. watever it’s called. 😛 we started out the day by getting boba in rowland after our eye doctor appointment, and then we went to eat at the nordstrom cafe. and from there we shopped around at the mall, which is ALWAYS fun with my mom 😀 and then we went to watch freaky friday together at edwards. that’s a really good movie to watch with your mom. x) it is! there are a lot of things that both you and your mom can relate to.. and it’s just awesome. well i’m talking to “you” as if you are a girl. if you are a guy. nevermind. haha.
but anyway. even though spending time with my family isn’t always my top priority. i’ve decided that it’s really important not to let your life go by without even getting to know your family. cause friends come and go… but family? they’ll always be there for you. to catch you when you fall. to support you when you thought no one else cared. they love you unconditionally. they’re family. 🙂
all-american girl
i just finished reading the book all-american girl by meg cabot. i guess it’s pretty good. it describes how the main character of the story, samantha madison, thinks so deeply that sometimes i wish she would just go on with the story. but all in all it was a pretty fun book to read.

it makes me sad how she gets this wonderful guy at the end that is, of course, PERFECT for her. and loves her even though she is so different. gr.. why don’t fairy tale endings ever happen to me?
