it’s over? 🙁
wow.. swim season is over! the whole season went by soOo fast.. despite my really dark tan… my huge arms.. and my now officially dead hair.. i really did like swim. i became closer with so many of my friends, made new ones.. and realized.. that i’m actually not that bad at swimming. haha.. i thought i sucked! i found my new love for water.. i’m gonna grow up to be a FISH!! yeaaah! lol.. o! and i’m gonna miss messing around with court and megan before, after, and during practice.. chatting with vivi, court, vicky, and megan on the bus, cheering for all my swim buds, and getting stomach workouts from laughing so hard about the dumbest things. x) until next swim season…
anyway. swim finals were yesterday. i ended up going to school in the morning.. i even had zero period! o well.. lol.. i had zero period band… and then first period ap euro. which was completely pointless because obviously no one was there because they were all either sleeping or at home studying for the ap test that day. i got extra credit for stacking books and then i attempted to study for the late ap euro test. and then i headed for the bus
in general.. i had an okay meet. i pretty much did as bad as i did at pre-lims… the coaches had this theory that before pre-lims and finals they were going to go easy on us and give us really easy practices.. this “theory” is called “tappering”.. anyway. i think that ended up screwing me over. my body swims faster when i’m at peak physical conditions.. not relaxed and almost out of shape. watever.. it worked for some people atleast. 😛
it was amazing how fast some of those people swam yesterday… i was like wow.. watching them in amazement. seriously.. they like.. shoot out.. and then shoot back.. in a matter of seconds.. and they manage to make it seem effortless. freaks. haha.. jk.
being out in the sun burned my face like crazy.. i even put on sunblock twice! gr.. so yeah.. my face is like in pain. ouchie!.. we had this awesome DJ out on the pool deck.. isn’t that tyte? haha.. it was coolio cause he played the bestest music that totally pumped everyone up for their race. 🙂 yay! lol and after the meet the JV boys threw coach bo in the pool because they got first! go jv boys!! fresman girls also did a really good job 🙂 (third) and my team, jv girls sucked. haha.. o well all our fast freshman girls were stolen from us.. and put on the freshman team. 🙁 so yupperz.. i ended up placing 10th overall for jv girls 100 yard freestyle with a 1:04 and 11th overall for jv girls 100 yard breastroke with a 1:28. blah. four events yesterday! i was so exhausted!… the relays i swam in did bad. ::sob::
after finals, megan, court, and i went to knowlwoods to eat din. food! yummy.. hehe..
